Although we call it folding it is not so.  The folding part is only for transportation.  Once you assemble it with the four  bolts provided, it will not fold either way.  This is excellent for small spaces where you require a seat for short duration and do not have enough space to accommodate a standard seat.  It is particularly worth considering for housholds that want such seating in entrance hallways or in a bay window. Beautifully handcrafted and painted to suit your taste!
